Introduction:
Lord Byron was born in 22 January 1788 AD and his death was 19 April 1824 AD. Lord Byron was an English poet a leading figure in romanticism. Amongst Byron's best known works are the brief poems "she walks in Beauty".
" When we two parted "and so we'll go no more a roving in addition to the narrative poems. He is one of the greatest British poet and remains widely read and influential.
Subject matter:
This poem is about the love, first and letter to hate a men feels towards who
was his beloved because she left him . It's very typical romantic poem. Typical
of romantic writers like Byron who Express his feelings of love typical a
typical issues of romanticism.
The structure of the poem, 'When we two parted' poem contents for
stanzas of eight verses each one in the first stanzas poet say,
It could be because it is a Forbidden love and that is the reason, why they
have to cry in Silence. The word 'tears' clarify it was a painful loss, they
live in tears. The word half get our attention the heart is only half,
broken probably because they both knew they were doing the right things and agreed
on the separation. Because his heart was broken by but her heart was
not, they will separated for years but not forever so many be deep
in his heart. He still thinks there is a
possibility of getting together again in
the future.
When they two parted her cheek and was Pale and cold, but her kisser
were much colder. These two lines make us think of her
death, it could mean that she is dead or that her kisses. Where called
because he had no feelings about it, we know that he was not dead.
In second stanza poet say the love was totally secret not even those who
know well knew about this love. He is a regretful for having met her and
too sad to explain it. Feeling of regret is so intense that he can't express
it with words.
He remembers the hidden love encounter and he feels bad because her hearts
forget their short but intense love. He can't say anything about this and he
can't tell her about this and he so he suffer in Silence.
He describe how bitter the separation was how long it lasted and how the
separation affected his perception of her how her name is like the ring of a
bell and knew to him and each time her over her name he shaded wonder how he
become so dear to him . The narrator describes how those who knew there too
wait do not know it that Byron knew her.
In this last stanza poet say his regret for having become, involved with her is
too deep for him. To express finally the poet describe how during their,
relationship they met in secret in a long now in Grief he is also
alone and silent .He nervous that heart turned from him while he still love,
her and conclude by saying that he has been so hurt that if he were to ever her
again he would not great. Found lay but roundly but would "Her silence and
tears".
