Here are my views about the above questions-

T.S Eliot poem waste land is a modern epic in modernist is time. this poem is a five parts Epic poem. This poem is kind of collage of images . Variety of image and language in this poem. We found, there are lots of imagination creates.

Waste land considered very unique poem. There so many spiritual ideas worldwide. Even after hundred years still considered Epic poem is 20th century Epic poem words literature.

1) What are your views on the following image after reading 'The Waste Land'? Do you think that Eliot is regressive as compared to Nietzche's views? or Has Eliot achieved universality of thought by recalling mythos -historical answer to the contemporary malaise?

T.S. Eliot and Friedriche Nietzsche are quite different their thinking.

Nietzsche was believed that “God is dead” and he doesn't believe any power like God, human being are superior. He believes superhuman who believes in oneself has a great will power while T.S. Eliot, believe in spirituality and religion. I disagree that Eliot is regressive as a compared to Nietzsche view. But Eliot waste land their are so many spiritual ideas, ritual, there are connected mythical story also Eliot use many reference of pastness of the past. Eliot has used very vast numbers of myth that are found in myths of various cultures from Greek, French, Indian, Christen and many other by recalling those of historical myths. Eliot created canvas with different images. He was unhappy with the present world in which he was living. He used myth in positive way to show negativity- decayed condition of his own culture. Whereas myths are deconstructed is negative use of myth.
So Rudyard Kipling say, East is east and west is west both are different, that never meet because their foundation are different philosophical life is different that is why it’s never meets.

2) Prior to the speech, Gustaf Hellström of the Swedish Academy made these remarks: What are your views regarding these comments? Is it true that giving free vent to the repressed 'primitive instinct' lead us to happy and satisfied life? or do you agree with Eliot's view that 'salvation of man lies in the preservation of the cultural tradition'?

Generally we know that Eliot has opposite opinion to that of the psychologist. Eliot are of the opposite opinion for you salvation of man lies in the preservation of the cultural condition, which in our mature years lives with the greater vigor within us than does primitiveness, and which we must preserve if chaos to be avoided” Whereas Freud and psychology believed in natural instincts, all the suppressed desires in our unconscious mind should be given either free vent to let out or should be displacement. Otherwise those repressed desires will lead to neurotic. What Freud said that to give free vent to primitive instincts is not always possible, when we are living in human society the free vent can only lead to chaos in society? It is good for individual but not for society.
The comments are based on psychology, whereas he believed in culture and its preservation, repression of desires, which he thinks will help to preserve our culture and this and only this will lead us towards human salvation.

3) Write about allusions to the Indian thoughts in 'The Waste Land'. (Where, How and Why are the Indian thoughts referred?).
what is Thunder said? He described the solution of spiritual degradation by referring in Indian culture and Upanishads. The allusions to the Indian thought are,

Thunder it means (Akashvani) in this thunder there is a lightning of 3 times first light carries a voice of the "Da", second “Da”, Damayata, and third “Da” is dayadham. This year old village in our religion Upanishad it's bring here.

Ganga was sunken , and the limpleaves
Waited forrain, while the blackclouds
Gathered fardistant, over Himavant.
The jungle crouched, humped in silence.

Another example of Ganga thire is the mythical symbol of him Ganga . Mystical power of there water
Eliot refer to that Ganga is spiritually highly very well connected in Indian philosophy, Indian mystical life and that reference also refer here. There is a strong Indian connection mythical connection in their poems best lines.

Eliot uses the three “ Da” taken frome Upanishad,

1) Datta- Charity
2) Dayadhvam- compassion
3) Damyata- self control

“DA”
Datta: What have we given?
My friend blood shaking my heart
The awful daring of a moment's surrender
Which an age of prudence can never retract
By this, and this only, we have existed
Which is not to be found in our obituraies
or in memories draped by the beneficient spider
Or under seals broken by the lean solicitor
In our empty rooms

DA
Dayadhvam: I have heard the key
Turn in the door once and turn once only
We think of the key, each in his prision
Thinking of the key, each confirms a prison
Only at nightfall, aetherial rumours
Revive for a moment a broken Coriolanus

DA
Damyata: The boat responded
Gaily, to the hand expert with sail and oar
The sea was calm, your heart would have
responded
Gaily, when invited, beating obedient
To controlling hands
I sat upon the shore
Shall I at least set my lands in order?"

Shantih shantih shantih”

The word " Shantih" suggests the ' The peace which passeth all understanding'. So this poem not speak only problems but also solution. Or answerer also it’s very simple solution to anybody to put in practice.

Thank You…!!
