Literature . we always think crisis we have
for example, what is use of literature we talk about idols which cannot
do philosophical justification. There is no logic in the world we don't have
enough logic argument to convince people that how literature is good.
Most of the people think that is wasted of the time. Reading novels means wasting of time but here says that its save your Times. this conflicting ideas which logic are used here save your time so which time is save.
It's make you nicer
Most of the people think that is wasted of the time. Reading novels means wasting of time but here says that its save your Times. this conflicting ideas which logic are used here save your time so which time is save.
It's make you nicer
Again challenging ideas, so what is this become nice.
if people are Learning literature, but
still the ideal in not so good, what is the need of the teach literature. Like
violence in society increases so does society make nice not do we make
literature nicer in good literature, make society nicer or not that we learnt.
so real world is very bitter allowed to say that literature makes people good
and so this become significance debate also.
Loneliness
Years people has said “books is best friend” now in a way loneliness, is not disease nowadays. it's difficult to see that people suffering in loneliness. now a day people don't feel the loneliness so they do not read literature.

Is BA English in India just timepass?
In this blog explain that what is purpose
of the BA English and its all time pass activity. Student of literature Prime
concern to doubt everything. That is Prime concern . Discipline everything this
is coming from part of tradition culture something that talk to us we are
supposed to doubt that is Literature does .
For example,
Hegel idea,
“Ideological state appearance”
Student journey in BA program is uncertainty. Talk to uncertain most of time is uncertainty, is spent most of time it's make uncertain. but this is and taken to be made to choose world to infinity is irony, of the student life in BA Program. You are not anti people but anti power enter system that you keep in questioning in different capacity that, so this give the ideas something you look study of English literature .

This is loss of frame a person
got admission in IIT and in this once you get admission you are considerate
smart enough you don't have worry about career and other things. So one person

change . Every country on the earth reforming their education system, information
is happening everywhere. We can't go back backward reformation . Ken Robinson

Reformation is important to there is one thing
that economics, very fast jobs are changing and money dynamics are changing
very quickly. And another is about the culture . Education system make people
better that is prime. And third globalization happen world is becoming smaller and because
of Technology. we start fighting with each other a lot and most of our fight
which are we don't understanding culture all issues of how culture different .
Globalization tries to disintegrate, the
wall between culture and Nations and national identity convert
into Global identity .This observation Ken Robinson say that globalization will
force us to teach several things, in the more open way and people should be
ready to accept ideas coming from worldwide. In different capacities which kind
of a openness narrowness should not have in all those things .
In
the video there Past is that we going college, we get a degree, we get a job,
which are there so in this environment job. supposed to not give where they are
give things is to change, in different way. And how people can be innovative
and thinking different way and try out several other things . Academic people
non academic how it came academic people are doing good job white collar jobs
and non academic people are doing servant. This is very old made model and
caves in the world it doesn't work at all today .
There
is also Attention deficiency hyperactivity disorder ADHD . Attention disorder
Ken Robinson says that modern academic modern problem a d h d misplace .Here
the example of class room were teacher teaching and says that make your built
and focus.
There is one teacher and lots of things divert .
There is one teacher and lots of things divert .
He
says factory model at exactly how schools are design ringing Bells and time to
come and time to go modern times remember and there is people first frame is
changing herd of people going time to come and machine line keep on working .
Factories are producing unemployable young people . That kind of messages also.
He
spoke about divergent thinking it is different from creativity, and then he
tried to explain our education system should promote a divergent thinking not
linear thinking. it is not even creativity something. Lots of possible answer
to a question capacity to see this . It opposes to question has one answer and
one truth.
Ken
Robinson says, the best of learning happen with grow. when we look or when we judge isolation. for example, exam system exam always
judge in isolation , Ken Robinson give overview of historical to the academic.
that is a recent one and that tries to changing Paradigms. how we can look that
education in variety of way freedom. we are going to How old a long isolated how I am for performs
. So this way give but there are limitations and there are issues of practices.
having of Institution that is very difficult to give freedom to the people

Video 6: David Crystal: The Effect of
New Technologies on English :
David Crystal and
support the argument that new technologies, rather than degrading (as some
would argue) the English language actually enhance it, as they facilitate new
pursuits by developing a new style of the English language. We find Crystal's
observations about the influence on language of a particular technological
medium very interesting.
And also the idea of
how a very minor change in a question, or sentence expecting a response, can so
very dramatically influence the response itself and the language used. It is
also noteworthy what Crystal says about the timescale of observing the
influence of technologies like the internet, and how it will take a very long
time for us to actually see any prominent changes to the structure of the
language- that it could be a relatively temporary phenomenon, but that we will
not know for certain for a long .
Video 7: David Crystal: The Biggest
Challenge for English Language Teachers in the times of Internet:
Video 8: David Crystal: Texting is
'Good' for English Language:
Teaching
language change no question that is difficult always has been the difficulty
with teaching, but its particularly a difficulty now given now that language is
changing so fast is changing for tourism. one reason the internet which is
indeed festering new varieties and new word. experience faster than ever before
we know in the old day if you invented a new world It could generation before
the rest of the world, knew about that new world.
If invent a new word today and put it on Face book everybody knows about it within, 24 hour less language is moving faster in teachers have good to keep plus with this because they students are already a head of them. must have had this experience you know the kind of language did you use all the time every day. weather its English or any Serbian or whatever it's often not the language that your teachers know. because they are Generation older and they are just not familiar with it until tell them and this is the sort of things that is happening to going to happen to our students we see in course new slang new words new expressions. are going to come in the other big trade in language change is the globalization of English. The fact of the matter is that we and students will go out into the big wide world and encounter found, in the English language well if you have been teaching your students that there is only one kind of English.
And that is British
English and the only kind of ascent is received pronunciation. which is the
ascent of the queen and so on.
Technology and texting brought abbreviation in language. But
it is only 10 percent other 90 percent language is standard English. In
language the more one read and write, the more one can expertise it. And mobile
and computer can be very useful for that.
Thank You!!!

English Language Teaching.
The answer of the question can be yes also and
no also. Because depend on our psyche. Who comes first
chicken or egg. It is difficult to say. As same this question. Today is lies it will be turn
true tomorrow. For example, invention of electric city, in
literature these things talk by marry Shelly before 200 year, so at that time it's
imagination making monster it turns into a real world of 21st
century robot. So everything happens real world. so day by day things are
change with a help of technology. Therefore technology replace teacher?? it is very difficult debate because Great technology requires great teachers.
Technology has grown by
leaps and bounds in the recent times. If we think without technology
teacher can provide good knowledge, or if we images that Think about
having no access to a computer, no videos, no projector, not being able to make
copies, having to enter all students grades by hand . Another side
imagine that without teacher in the classroom what is happening. As same
teacher present in class things are totally change, like atmosphere of
classroom that is do not make technology. Computers do not teach children to
question, to discriminate among sources of information, to weigh perspectives,
to think about consequences, to bring contextual meaning to a situation, to be
creative, or to make careful judgments.” Teachers impart students with life
skills, valuable life lessons and inspire them to reach their potential.
A teacher is so much more
than a facilitator, they
are also a guide and a mentor. Without a
great teacher, technology merely becomes an automated tool and stops inspiring
and engaging students. Ultimately, it isn’t about teachers being replaced
by technology but how teachers can adapt to incorporate technology in their
lessons.
Technology teaching was at the centre and when we talk about 20th century, education system teacher and teaching was in the centre. for example centre in Periphery ideas post structuralism The Derrida and then decentering the centre this decentering the centre is happening education system .
If teacher go and doing also telling and motivating learners to do then there is still requirement of teacher but if teacher is only giver of the material then material is already available on internet perhaps learner don't happy with this kind of things also . So entering ideas learning is become more important and teaching being reduced in its important . That kind of ideas we apply that can technology replace teacher. If teacher only giver material.
If we think that can technology replace teacher?
It is really happening when we study flipped learning classroom activity and Byju’s , Coursera , Flinnt kind of app to learn something there is really happen Technology replace teacher . But this all made by in a way Human being.
Technology in a way makes ready for self learning and what can do self learning it's free our self what else human being require then freedom .
All students are supposed to future ready not passed ready but future ready when future is unpredictable I will that Technology going to rule the world in 21st century.
Use of technology Minds grow with screens would be automatically multi tasker. and one who has grown without screens they Mini mono tasker and that's why we can find problem to technology disturbance.

Initially, it was a very debatable concept with lack of network infrastructures and technological frameworks. But with the advent of ever-advancing technology , it was essential to modernize education by deploying appropriate strategically technologies to give learning a whole new dimension. It proved to be an asset to the process of learning.
Be effective for using Technology that is to be done.

Movie Review - "The Reluctant Fundamentalist".
This blog is a part

“The Reluctant Fundamentalism”, In the movie we see Islamic fundamentalism
is obviously opposite to the modern west in that it reject individual autonomy,
and democracy in the name of Islam .
The Reluctant Fundamentalist goes for on unknown terrorist, in its use of ethnic profiling and stereotyping it show the increased suspicious and anger prompted by terrorist. attacked as conductive to psychological state that motivate terrorist activity.
Changez retrospective narrative, which accounts for his opposition to the west maps psychological cross culture, tension on to the present moment, of telling contribution to the mounting suspense, after encounter as an uncertainty about what is happening, or will happen after the part of company establishing that exchange.
Religious fundamentalism as a form of political, Revival is crucial to the political dimensions of the plot and tension between Fundamentalist and unlighted secular corrector at the end of the novel.

Jim cross (leader)say
remember fundamentalism it’s menace profit. Here market fundamentalism and
religious fundamentalism both are looking together, they in way doing same terrorism that tryst to narrated
same thing.
Frame narration story within a story ,one day
suddenly professor N.C.Renner in the
American professor working, in a Lahore university. he is coming out of cinema theatre and he has abduct
, and suddenly CIA Boby Lincon named a
journalist and for a suspect is Changez khan. he is a protagonist , boby lincon making a interview, whole film is a going on a
like interview it is one narration.
Boby
Lincon is a taken interview of a changes khan.
And
then flashback in introduction of a changes khan who is a changes khan. In the interview there is one dialogue I liked most and also very interesting , changes
khan speak , “ Nazre bhi
dhokha kha sakti hai “.
Doing the corruption for
company benefits or profit of the company is doing a less staff and making a
profit for company . it’s a successes story of the any changes khan , how many
people are unemployed.jim cross is leader there success is a job less of so
many people .
And there is a library ,
it is also increasing the cost therefore it will also have to do privatization.
They father was poet and Changez khan he is a business man in the conflict between Literature and market there
conflict is very inter vowel. That is why librarian asking their
what is doing he was say my father is poet he belongs to a Urdu traditional of
literature . he say you will see the library such that it will not be
profitable it is harmful.
At that time he give example, that you are modern janissaries it say for, by kidnapping a
Christian child and making him a Muslim and fight in front on Christian. It’s
become market fundamentalism. Private corporation houses, America , 9/11 , Urdu
tradition, the literature, the conflict between father and son. These
all are beautifully inter viewed. And what is going on now.
Conflict of fundamentalism market , religion, literature and business every thing it’s enter vowed in deferent capacity.
In movie lot’s of scene is
postcolonial concept, how identity
take place in the movie it’s very
significance. And also there identity how they harm. they suffer a lot every where. The feeling of being “Other” in an America becoming stronger for Changez, as his beard has became his identity of being Muslim.
Before 9/11 he was a clean shaved guy, but when everyone make him feel that he
is a Muslim, he started keeping beard, maybe he was also showing a kind of
patriotism towards his country as Americans were showing.
Thank you….
Movie Review " Midnight's Children ".
This blog is a part of my classroom
activity of Postcolonial Studies: Film Screening: Midnight's Children
Here is the blog of a given task: Click Here
Director – Deepa Mehta
Screenplay - Salman Rushdie
Writer – Salman Rushdie
Starring – Shabana Azmi
Ronit
Roy, Shriya Saran, Satya Bhabha
“Midnight children” is
written by Salman Rushdie. it is a postcolonial
novel in which the novel give and account of the historical event, that
happened during British Raj and
independence in India . He added beauty to this event thought using, the tool
of Magical realism in which make it beautiful
piece literature . it’s magical movement is very old idea to use in the parvati
. In the use of Progressive and regressive movement use of the movie . it’s always
journey of India , it’s very interesting Juxtaposition
.
Their are more element of post
modernity also, post colonial discourse, white person narrated brown world. History
memory how it’s narrated here, most of episode to 1919to 1977. So text is very
thick movie is not very thick. In the movie what is connection between “literature and politics” or what is connection between politics and religion.
In their meta narration Muslim wanted separate country that is meta
narration , meta narration challenge of marginalize narration.
So many thing are parallel, rich
poor divide and how the poor hates rich, India made of that dimension. Poor have animosity
towards rich people.
In the movie also irony of the mother India old
irony of the mother having extra marital affair with some man.
In this movie
also scene of the Marxist revaluation
hero, they say change the fate of the rich and poor,
in the change fortune to both childe
. in the deep satire on the Nauruan socialism time, take money to the rich and
give to the poor. That system of
work text’s to rich and subsidizing poor
Marxist idea to satirizing .
What is post colonialism ?
Post colonial as the word itself says, refer to period after colonialism. colonialism is referred to subjugation of with countries and Nations by the strong one .
Postcolonial element in midnight children .
A fantastic movie directed by Deepa Mehta is made on it . that been watch and appreciated worldwide . In the movie which highlights the post colonial setting of India after British rule . It pictures the postcolonial social, cultural political, religious practice, that were evident in India .
Much of his fiction is set on the India subcontinent. he is said to combine magical realism with historical fiction. his work is concerned need with the many connection disruption and migrations between East and West civilization . The stories told by its chief protagonist Saleem Sinai and is set in the context of actual historical event as with historical fiction .
In this movie we find that most important postcolonial concept used in postcolonial Literature are Hybridity, Hegemony , ambivalence, mimicry miscegenation, subaltern ambiguity magic realism feminism globalization etc.
Midnight children, children traces grotesque destiny of a Muslim Indian family from 1915 to 1977 when Indira Gandhi emergency rule was about to end in a general election .
In the novel, the time period that the novel cover as a started by Robert Towers is from 1915 to 1977 . British rule in the subcontinent come to its end on 15th August 1947 midnight children are The children born at the stroke of midnight of 15th August 3rd market India's Independence .
Magical realism is the narrative style of this novel besides this one can trust several postcolonial element in the novel as hybridist, mimicry, miscegenation, postcolonial feminism.
In the movie Saleem Sinai to hero is also one of this midnight children they are introduced to Saleem after a bicycle accident . As a result of a jolt received in bicycle accident I selling scene I become a whale of them all . He starts listening strange voice and tell his family about listening strange voice no one believe in fact he is accused of cracking stupid joke and is badly treated .

There comes a time when this midnight children actually appear and start talking to him they tell him about the supernatural power they had . the Midnight children where not ordinary kids they had supernatural power .
“Saleem and Shiva ,Shiva and Salim nose and knees and nose” the overhead given the gift of War and to Salem the greatest talent of all the ability to look into the hearts and Minds of men .
Saleem used to held conference with this midnights children this conferences, are repeatedly referred in novel as midnight children conferences different political issues are discussed in this conference.
In the movie can see that mimicry postcolonial way .
Mimicry is evident during British raj in India. where one can witness British mimicking India while India mimicking British, Selman Rushdie has given several such example, of mimicry .
For example Saleem Sinai the hero of the novel at one plus, highlighting mimicry in his society say that in India we have always been vulnerable to Europeans Abed had only been with us a matter of weeks and already I was being suckered into a grotesque you mimicry of European literature .
One can also see traces of imitation in him he tries to mimic language spoke in India for example sab kuch Tik Tok hi everything just fine.( Rushdie-2011.)
The movie is also portrayed Hybridity.
According to Rushdie privilege a postmodern spares or third principle that blind both side of binaries like East –West circular religious real fantasy and colonizer colonized. and for ground hybridist over clarity and open and less over closer .
For example Rushdie himself Saleem is a perfect representation of hybrid male born with multiple allegiances and identities .
Postcolonial feminism.
Feminism is also one of the postcolonial element found in this novel. India is a male dominated society, where female are separated by the male one way or another, we can also said that females are treated as a subaltern in the region of the word .
For example, Naseem, Amina, and Jamila.

"The Birthday Party"
1
Why are two scenes of Lulu omitted from the movie?
According to me, In the film version of the birthday
party he omitted scene between Lulu and act . The audience would focus on the
character of a woman, who was abused by men. and she would have been judged as victim,
rather than the protagonist . In this film is not unnecessary scene.
There is no way of
knocking what printers actually motivation was in clipping lulus role . One
possible explanation is that he probably felt that lulus reappearance in act
three was only distracting the attention of the audience from Stainless
impending Doom point however there might have been ways to integrate Lulu more
organically into the play .
2 ) Is movie successful in giving us
the effect of menace? Where you able to feel it while reading the text?
Yes, In both the play and the film seems to be a
trivia. The opening conversation between Mag and petey .
3) Do you feel the effect of lurking
danger while viewing the movie? Where you able to feel the same while reading
the text.
In the film, we find several times the knocking the door is lurking danger, And entire sequence is frightening. who is coming inside and somebody coming in inside and shouting. who is this? who is coming? the person showing a such a way do not identify revel little a bit of frightening.
4) What do you read in 'newspaper' in the movie? Petey is reading
newspaper to Meg, it torn into pieces by McCain, pieces are hidden by Petey in
last scene.
Newspaper, is a symbol of Reality or hide of
mask or reading is power. Inside
the somebody is coming afraid of people most of the place, or writer tries to
do that in the movie releasing the play. begins there is a somebody's knocking the door,
and Mac ask him who is there? who is
there? but nobody reply.
5) Camera is positioned over the head of McCain when he is playing
Blind Man's Buff and is positioned at the top with a view of room like a cage
(trap) when Stanley is playing it. What interpretations can you give to these
positioning of camera?
In the camera
movement is first long short, of full room. And everybody was trapped inside
the room. And then camera close-up upon the man’s Buff, then goes on.
6) "Pinter restored theater to its basic elements: an
enclosed space and unpredictable dialogue, where people are at the mercy
of one another and pretense crumbles." (Pinter, Art, Truth & Politics: Excerpts from the 2005 Nobel
Lecture). Does this happen in
the movie?
Yes, with some
exceptions it happens in the movie. Everybody shows care and love for each
other, for example Lulu, Meg and Petey shows care towards Stanley but at the
end when Stanley is in problem no one helps or even cares.
7) How does viewing movie help in better
understanding of the play ‘The Birthday Party’ with its typical characteristics
(like painteresque, pause, silence, menace, lurking danger)?
Movie helps us in better
understanding because, it gives more effect to menace. in the film, Pinter’s
exact shift is from where to where? Pinter’s shift from an emphasis on people
in the play to an emphasis on things in the film is at the least a painteresque of the play.,
8) With which of the
following observations you agree:
o “It probably wasn't possible to make a
satisfactory film of "The Birthday Party."
o “It's impossible to imagine a better film
of Pinter's play than this sensitive, disturbing version directed by William Friedkin”[3]. (Ebert)
I agree with the following observation:-
““It's impossible to imagine a better film of Pinter's play than this sensitive, disturbing version directed by William Friedkin”..
““It's impossible to imagine a better film of Pinter's play than this sensitive, disturbing version directed by William Friedkin”..
9) If you were director or screenplay writer, what sort of
difference would you make in the making of movie? Who would be your choice of
actors to play the role of characters?
The movie is quite disturbing and excellent in
a way. I don’t think I would like to make such film.
