Fire and ice is very short but remarkable Poem of Robert Frost. In
which the poet philosophical temperaments is to be found, the present short
poem deals with the theme of the destruction of Universe but dealing with this
theme the poet come before of a profound philosophy. The very opening line of
the poem prepare meeting. Indian
mythology and Christian mythology the west some people are of the opinion
that this world would be destroyed because of fire and some other believe that the world would be destroyed
Because of Ice.
In Indian
Mythology there is an account of how King Manu was saved by the flooded flood,
with help of the lord Vishnu was guise of a fish. Its describe how world was
destroyed because of flood. Top Christian mythology of the west mention that
the world would be destroyed because of Fire.
Subject Matter:
The poet Frost in the
opening of the poem refers to this two myth and he believed that the world
would be destroyed because of the fire. The poet here use the word fire as is Mark symbol is signified human Desire. The poet wants to convey
that Human Desire or just like flame, flames of fire and there no end to
human Desire so that the poet is of the opinion that the world would be
destroying because of the fire of human Desire. Because human Desire is a
measures draining force which Complex person what to any extent for fulfillment
of those desire the points. That says that it is also equal a capable of
destroying the world.
The poet Associates ice with cold blooded hatred which modern man
has for a fallow human being the days of physical war are gone now its replace with
cold blooded hatred which people are destroyed mentally .
So the poet says that ice is also capable destroying the world.
Conclusion:
The present poem has a
philosophical note in its as comments on human nature. The first aspect of
human nature is burning desires. And the second aspect of the cold hatred both
are having the capacity to destroyed this world. This truth of modern life is highlighted
in the present poem.
In "Ode on Solitude", Alexander Pope presents
to us the blessing of solitude in the form of a beautiful song.
ØIn the first stanza, Pope says:
"Happy
is the man whose wish" is to get a small farm or "a few paternal
acres" and willing to take care of them after the death of his parents. Here, the poet depicts that if a man inherits "a few acres in his
own country and breathes his native air" he will be happy, contented, and blessed. This stanza implies the happiness of owning a small productive
property in one's own country. From an economic point of view here the poet encourages us to take care of the land of the parents instead of leaving it looking
for a job in the city or abroad. In other words, the owner of approval farm is
the master of himself.
Ø In
the second stanza, the poet says:
Portrays the products of the farm and how such products nurture the man by
saying that the herds provide him with milk, and the land with bread. In
addition, the flocks in the farm supply the farmer with garments; even the
trees give him shade in summer and warm in winter. This stanza implies that
self-contained economy and happiness can be achieved through keeping and
preserving small productive farm. On another level of meaning, the poet in this
poem is
calling for preserving nature and the farms instead of neglecting them or
selling them to contractors who devastate the land and nature.
Ø In
the third and fourth stanza’s poet, say:
The
poet talks about how time passes happily and swiftly in the farm. At day
time, not only the "hours, but also days, and years", pass in good
health of body and with peace of mind during the quiet day time, while at night
the farmer enjoys good sleep and he can study at ease if he wants and practices
recreation. Furthermore, the living in the farm leads to that great feeling of
innocence and the pleasure of meditation.
Ø In
the last stanza, the poet:
Wishes to live "unseen, unknown" enjoying the happiness of quiet life
not caring about fame and wealth. He also wishes to die unlamented as if he is
quietly stolen from this world wishing nobody to cry over his death. Finally,
for his love of such a quiet and blissful life, the poet or the narrator
recommends that his grave must be left without "a stone", a sign, or
a mark to tell where he dies.
Lord Byron was born in 22 January 1788 AD and his death was 19 April 1824 AD.
Lord Byron was an English poet a leading figure in romanticism. Amongst
Byron's best known works are the brief poems "she walks in

Subject matter:
This poem is about the love, first and letter to hate a men feels towards who
was his beloved because she left him . It's very typical romantic poem. Typical
of romantic writers like Byron who Express his feelings of love typical a
typical issues of romanticism.
The structure of the poem, 'When we two parted' poem contents for
stanzas of eight verses each one in the first stanzas poet say,
It could be because it is a Forbidden love and that is the reason, why they
have to cry in Silence. The word 'tears' clarify it was a painful loss, they
live in tears. The word half get our attention the heart is only half,
broken probably because they both knew they were doing the right things and agreed
on the separation. Because his heart was broken by but her heart was
not, they will separated for years but not forever so many be deep
in his heart. He still thinks there is a
possibility of getting together again in
the future.
When they two parted her cheek and was Pale and cold, but her kisser
were much colder. These two lines make us think of her
death, it could mean that she is dead or that her kisses. Where called
because he had no feelings about it, we know that he was not dead.
In second stanza poet say the love was totally secret not even those who
know well knew about this love. He is a regretful for having met her and
too sad to explain it. Feeling of regret is so intense that he can't express
it with words.
He remembers the hidden love encounter and he feels bad because her hearts
forget their short but intense love. He can't say anything about this and he
can't tell her about this and he so he suffer in Silence.
He describe how bitter the separation was how long it lasted and how the
separation affected his perception of her how her name is like the ring of a
bell and knew to him and each time her over her name he shaded wonder how he

alone and silent .He nervous that heart turned from him while he still love,
her and conclude by saying that he has been so hurt that if he were to ever her
again he would not great. Found lay but roundly but would "Her silence and
tears".

depended on love relationship , his important matters his
poem was love and be very short and lowest poem.

options to understanding.
Post – Viewing Tasks:
How
faithful is the movie to the original play?
This movie is faithfully in
original play, because in movie Kenneth branagh’s is film in stating action
until to end is many changes this is not see of Shakespeare original play.
still is faithfully stating atmosphere in the movie gloomy, his style setting
techniques flash back, Victorian era cloth it would all visualize of the movie
stating. for example, camera move in
the castle wall we're is written hamlet and statue in first the stating and
then the falling King hamlet is show. all are is incident is original play
still is faithfully our mind its imagine it will happen many changes. in play
then any incident to happened then camera move inside any body outside it is
symbols then visualize chain, of step by step for example, ghost scene is faithfully stating sequence.
After
watching the movie, have your perception about play, characters or situations
changed?
I watch the movie all are
character, his action, his dialogue, is very well. In Kenneth branagh’s hamlet
is movie make eager to watch, in a way hamlet’s his action in the Kenneth branagh portrait
very well in the movie. Ophelia in female character is in film not able to
speak anything. In play like Ophelia and Gertrude both female in film
victimized character in a way play also. all scene in the certainly at that time polonius and claudius to many
other. scene both are to victimized make Ophelia because she is I find 11th century male dominated society. in obey
his father, brother etc.
Do
you feel ‘aesthetic delight’ while watching the movie? If yes, exactly when did
it happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?
I fill aesthetic delight
while watching film in many scene like hamlet behavior his friends R&G and Horatio, and hamlet conversation also give comic effect , more
interested conversation. between Claudius
and hamlet, and Ophelia and Claudius
conversation it also very interesting .
Do
you feel ‘catharsis’ while or after watching movie? If yes, exactly when did it
happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?
yes, I fill catharsis in scene of
nunnery , scene of Opheliamadness ,scene of ghost, scene in say avenge the take the revenge Ophelia loudly cry. when her father died and decided Claudius to hamlet go to England, when
hamlet see second time Gertrude bed chamber it also intrusting. then when queen
Gertrude died.
Does
screening of movie help you in better understanding of the play?
The movie help a lot very clear understanding
of the play. it gives us clears idea of situation, character, emotion, also and
hamlet behavior, madness, emotional.
Was
there any particular scene or moment in the movie that you will cherish
lifetime?
I will cherish life time,
when hamlet say to Ophelia you became nunnery ,then Ophelia madness’ in
behavior and her madness in sing song then hamlet sentiment dreams etc.
If
you are director, what changes would you like to make in the remaking of movie
on Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’?
The film Kenneth branagh in
movie maid by very well. in movie each
person fill Hamartiya, aesthetics catharsis, all are emotional fill
experience. but when in movie female characters portrait victimized it change I
don't make male dominated.
In
the beginning of the movie, camera rolls over the statue of King Hamlet out
side the Elsinore castle. The movie ends with the similar sequence wherein the
statue of the King Hamlet is hammered down to the dust. What sort of symbolism
do you read in this?
In beginning of the movie
camera rolls over the statue the movie camera move outside to inside. In ghost
castles scene take revenge and symbols of last full fill result revenge I think
I read.
·While studying the play
through movie, which approach do you find more applicable to the play? Why?
Give reasons with illustrations.
In the
movie philosophical approach and most of the hamlet scene in a way very suitable capable. when hamlet
decided to take revenge. then many thought come in mind sentiment dreams
nunneries of hamlet many scene like for example to be or not to be is in textual approach is apply cable in philosophical. like
his father uncle prayer time at that time he takes revenge about he again
philosophy mind.
·Which of the above
mentioned approaches (in Pre-viewing task) appeals you more than other? Why?

How short human life is once it is over the opportunity to enjoy other is gone

the earth is thought to create time anyway he cannot make time stop but
we can change places. With it whenever we have sex we pursue time instead

Come think of it we probably due to 'to his coy mistress' offer a chance to
explore some of those confusing thoughts.

1)Does the novel have social realism? If
yes, illustrate. If no, what did you expect as social realism which is absent
here.
Yes, novel have social
realism For example, Social Realism is comes that life of call centre, is full kinds of insult. which people have understood
this is the part of the job and people are going insulting in this way keep on
leaving but vroom cannot digest the
idea. That anybody can say anything against India, where does reference comes,
and say India is very dusty and he does not like that ideas. India as compared
with inferior country. he become angry and start abusing the person. other side
also This is interesting reality which
Chetan Bhagat brings in this novel in a way nobody has talked about life of
call centre. which kinds of insult this all bright young people of India which
are working in the call centre. and they are constantly going under the kind of
Insult behavior where, they are losing their self respect.
Social
realism last character Isha is introduce with their problems they are facing
how realistic all those problems . Call centre is mover of cultural dynamics or
economic of the society and played very vital role. Private jobs leads towards anxiety rather than satisfaction among the people
.
In
the novel how the Bakshi’s doing Currupt Practice. For that Vroom and Shyam
both play a game over Bakshi. first
lesson Bakshi because he was threaten to intimidate our body so teach him a
lesson. he calls in the wrong way and say you come out, then he come outside .
He comes out working its keeps its email open, quickly threw the other three
people inside and done email to Isha. and offering that if you compromise with me for a night I will see that your job not go .
So
these people adopted this kind of path is not which are not right full path.
They are blackmails speaking somebody's morality from the person who is not
Immoral .
So
take money from him and Shyam and Vroom both take money vroom and Shyam both of
them started the company. so as such we see then it's corrupt practices . It is
a mirror of India . So social realism in India this is happening and then they
start their company.
Is
this novel anti-America? Illustrate it in context of theme of nationalism.
Chetan Bhagat was also anti-American in the novel. Vroom is character the only character who
voices this Anti America, and other Character don't have any problems they
don't any questions against America. Is
totally West nice all character but
vroom have some grudges, some kind of complain. when dialogue with God comes at
that time also he bring points and America he do not speak about my job
my love relation my mother concern is that anti America nationalist concern.
Chetan Bhagat also bring the conflict
narrative theme of nationalism, also when we conflict the ideas of West nice
and we have the voice of anti America sentiment. also in the narrative anti
America sentimental reflected, where he tries to looking somewhere on this side
left wing side they normally trying to write stories, about anti America.
Normally the voice of anti America is against of anti power end Powerisalways underthequestion for him narratives thinking patterns they keep on question
of power and whatever power does they try to doubt in conspiracy theory.
So people are unhappy by and large all
character in call centre . Vroom is talented because he talented but he don't satisfied in India condition. he doesn't support real talent in a way is
support America. so they think I am in America so things are better but he
think I don't go to America because I love my country .
There is intrusting tone of anti America. Our government don't
realize that by giving this hand to America or being of side of America. we are
destroying the young generation all together.
In instructor teaching to the call centre people , they say when
we deal with people remember this formula 10 is equal to 35 these are formula people
are use. Remember 35 year old America brain and iq is same as 10 year old
Indian. Its mean ask a very simple item.
Comment on Narrative structure of the
novel. Compare with that of Life of Pi.
There is a fourth frame in narrative first frame lady tells
story to the author tells story to the Shyam. and then shyam narrate entire
story and overall frame as its a dream sequence. to the
author who dream about all those things happening as story told to the us so
this is overall narrative design.
How epilogue and prologue every thing is use it part of
narrative strategy. Epilogue and prologue is intrigue part is not out side
narrative. Story doesn’t began with Shyam start the telling a story. But
even before that author start duologue even Acknowledgement that all become
part of that.
Acknowledgement of the author, god elements in the story and
narrative in this strategy. also equally
unreliable, unreliable as we find in life of pi also.
Unreliable
is lady tall a story. And how far as a true. Lady herself tell that if
you do not believe then you replace god with military uncle. One reliable
narrative means narratives tells something than say something if you don't like
it change it, then have in this way.
Post modernistic strategy in narrations,
one tell story to can't we relives and we have that doubt regarding what it is
telling. so all those elements are very significant explain in Life of Pi also,
and how Life of Pi all those element it including this Central part that is the
idea of God.
First we see starting acknowledgement One Night At The Call Centre and
thanking to so many people who help them in writing. cousins who are working in
Call Centre same way in Yann Martin we have the authors not .
In one
night at call centre there is before epilogue, there is lady suddenly come in
tell that I have a story for you and in Life of Pi similar that way we find
that I have a story for you unknown person say .
Yann
Martin there is god setting also . narratives strategy their is flashback
technique. In One Night At The Call Centre there is a Chetan Bhagat write
acknowledgement, there is a I am thankful to MS Word. In the Life of Pi Yann
Martin given thanking speech Japanese Ministry
of transport. We see that parallel in both narrative strategy .
In
parallel we find Chetan Bhagat also praises his other books and in Life of Pi
there is also referred other book . Chetan Bhagat also put to openness
that if people don't believe then there is alternative that military
uncle speak everything .In Life of Pi it is my experience I tell my experience
whether you believe or not it is up to you it may happen that other people it
may not believe it. Yann Martel is
remain in skepticism.
Sundae Vishwas ko Zinda Rakhta hai that
dialogue in Life of Pi .
Narrative
strategy of telling a story a story of totally different, but narrative
strategy. has a very wonderful similarity between One Night At The Call Centre,
and Life of Pi even a God and element in a way very interesting put in both
narrative from beginning to end.
What do you understand by self-help book. Is on@tcc self-help
book? Illustrate .
One Night At The Call
Centre is level of self help book at that level. it is there in people read and
people self improve into several things .
self help book we will study can also we see
that all high literature all religious scriptures. they all are self help book
anything that I read and I become better it is a self help book . For example Mahabharata and Ramayana
also same. They are same self help book whenever we read morality about life
and we see that literature make life better. It all self help book which
comes under the category.
Novels begin before you begin this book I have a small
request right addressing audience reader directly. Chetan Bhagat himself is
Shyam .I write a note down three things right down. something that
you fear,
make you angry and
And you don't like about yourself.
Be honest
make something that is meaning full don't think too much.
This
beginning is very typical of self help book . Which are motivational book which
are suppose to make us better after reading book self help book we don’t
required any such motivated.
What is
popular literature? Is on@tcc popular literature? Illustrate.
Chetan
Bhagat author of “ one night at call
centre” also he was a represent cultural icon or popular culture. popular literature and also popular figure of writing
are also popular, he is greater extent
right wing majoritarian. Because he was not as such left wing writer normally
right or left wing who speaks modern of Marxism and other things. They are Pro to work or rather they are Pro
reach it's not very rich then urban India and not rural that way how we look at
Chetan Bhagat and India represent by him.
